Calvary Baptist Church

Lynn Nold moved to State College in May of 1994 when Dan was called as Lead Pastor to Calvary. As mentioned (front), they have four children: Sarah lives in Pittsburgh and is the HR Exec at a Target; Katy is in her Sr. year at Bethel College; Jake is in his Freshman year at Bethel College (in Minneapolis, MN), and Josh is a 10th grader at State High. Dan and I also became foster parents to a 11-year old, so that has added a whole new element to our lives!  Lynn has been involved in various ministries at Calvary throughout her 17 years here. Her main passion in ministry is prayer. She’s been the Prayer Coordinator since 2006, and desires to see Calvary become a House of Prayer, with prayer saturating everything that we do as a church, and as individuals who are passionate about Jesus. She loves to read, spend time with family and friends, travel, and much to Dan’s dismay, she especially enjoys shopping! She loves to pray with people and see God heal the broken places of our lives and fill those places of hurt with peace and joy.
